WHO ARE HOMESTRETCH HEROES?
You, the great members of our community. Homestretch Heroes is the title given to all community members that get involved by coming to watch and cheer on the Teton Dam Marathon participants.

You will make a difference as you cheer the athletes on and give them an extra boost. We want to show the athletes from all over the country what great, friendly people live in Rexburg. We are America's Family Community. Let's show what that means by supporting these events.

HOW CAN I SHOW MY SUPPORT?
If you live along the marathon route, go out on your sidewalk and cheer. Make signs, set up music, and give runners high-fives as they go by. This is really motivating to someone who is running.

Go to the park and cheer. Everyone comes to finish at Smith Park. Homestretch Heroes will be putting on a free pancake breakfast and giving out noisemakers to cheer the participants on to the end.

Timing is everything. If you live along the race route you can cheer for runners early on in the race and then come to the finish line later to have breakfast and cheer.

If you are interested in volunteering with Homestretch Heroes, then send an email expressing your desires to help to dammarathon@rexburg.org. Or show up at Smith Park on the morning of the race.
